What are Clinical Trials?
Clinical trials are studies generally designed to test the efficacy of certain methods, drugs or devices. The trials can involve prevention, detection and treatment of an illness. At the University of Chicago, we conduct several clinical trials simultaneously. For more information, see the Office of Clinical Research.
How Can I Participate?
To participate in a clinical trial, ask your physician for more information on any studies you might be eligible for. You can also search the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center's database of open studies.
